About Us

The School of the Deep Heart was founded in 2007 in Maui, Hawaii. Our mission is to open the door of discovery into the deep heart and provide a path of healing on mental, emotional, physical and spiritual levels.

About Anne

Anne was educated in traditional and eastern psychotherapy at The Naropa Institute, in Boulder, Colorado, receiving her Masters degree in Contemplative Psychotherapy. She then completed a two-year Body Mind Psychotherapy program affiliated with The Naropa Institute and a one-year program in hypnosis at the Transpersonal Hypnotherapy Institute in Boulder, CO.

Anne continued her post graduate studies in Arizona at The School of Conscious Healing where she earned a degree in Conscious Healing (2.5 years) and an advanced degree in Conscious Healing (1.5 years). After practicing Conscious Healing (also known as Deep Heart work), she no longer found a psychotherapeutic model relevant to her work.

As a Consious Healer, Anne has found that the deeper she goes into her inner work of ego release and embodiment of non-ego, the more she has to offer her students. The path of the heart is something that needs to be lived and transmitted if one is to be helpful and able to guide others.
